About the team you'll be joining:

You’ll be Seatfrog’s first ever full-time People Manager. It'll be up to you to decide how you achieve your mission: to enable and support the team & our culture here at Seatfrog to go beyond the ordinary.

This is a perfect opportunity for a People generalist ready for a step up that involves building on strong people and culture foundations with flair, creativity & significant autonomy.

About the role

Here's what you'll be up to and how you'll be making an impact:

  • Maintaining extraordinary levels of team engagement - ensuring our people are productive, high performing and fulfilled at Seatfrog  
  • Acting as a trusted adviser and coach to Seatfrog’s managers & leaders
  • Working with our Talent Partner to help build our employer brand and continuously improve our interview process and candidate experience
  • Developing, implementing and iterating on human-centric, scalable, values-driven people policies and processes to drive a high-performance culture
  • Owning our onboarding journey and ensuring that everyone has the best possible start at Seatfrog
  • Managing our payroll, employee benefits, documentation and HRIS - using as much automation as possible
  • Ensuring all employees have access to great growth and learning opportunities and helping us with hiring and succession planning to support sustainable growth.

What you'll need to succeed: 

  • Solid experience as a People generalist in one or two early-stage/scaling tech business under your belt. Knowing what works (and what doesn’t) in this environment is crucial - although we’ve got some great People + Culture foundations in place, so you won’t be starting completely from scratch.
  • Excellent communication skills - verbal, written & group. You understand that good internal communication is essential for a scaling business - and how to ensure it happens.
  • You’re values-driven - you view everything through this lens & you’re prepared to speak up for our Beliefs
  • You have good business acumen - you align People goals with those of the business
  • The confidence to act as a trusted advisor with the ability to provide clear, credible and knowledgeable advice to managers & leaders
  • You’re creative - best practice simply isn’t good enough - you value people over process and create solutions that are human and scalable
  • You’re happiest working at pace and with variety
  • You have equal amounts EQ + AQ
  • You have a coaching mindset - you’re interested in advising & empowering managers and leaders, not doing their job for them
  • You’re collaborative to a fault - the entire business will feel the impact of your work, so seeking feedback should be second nature
  • You’re organised, and you can balance reactive + proactive work so that you add strategic value whilst keeping the lights on.
