About the team you'll be joining

The product team at Seatfrog is focused on crafting great experiences that fundamentally change the way people are able to travel. You'll be part of a group of skilled and thoughtful individuals focused on solving big problems that deliver significant growth and build upon our ambitious vision.

About the role

In this role you’ll work closely with the Product Manager and the senior product team to drive decision-making and product delivery for our iOS and Android apps. You’ll create a strong connection to our customers along every stage of the process to listen, understand and empathise with their struggles and drive solutions to solve their problems.

Your key areas of focus will be: 

  • Checking in on app health metrics daily, and producing weekly and monthly reports of your findings. 
  • Working with the senior product team to build and maintain the product roadmap for customer experience.
  • Carrying out user and market research for new initiatives and features.
  • Managing new version releases. You’ll write app release notes and ensure that new versions are shipped on time. 
  • Communicating updates to the wider team.  
  • Being the go-to person for Customer Support and Customer Success teams.
    • Responding to customer feedback and bug reports, investigating the severity of issues in order to effectively prioritise a backlog.
    • Gathering insights that drive the Customer Experience roadmap.

What you'll need

  • A passion for delivering great products and great customer experience.
  • Ability to blend instinct, consultation, and objective analysis to make the right decisions in a timely manner.
  • A methodical approach and be able to proactively foresee issues. 
  • You’ll build the trust of colleagues to keep them informed and to deliver on expectations.
  • An energetic and motivational style, that stimulates pace and creativity from colleagues.

Nice to haves, or willing to learn

  • Introductory course to product management
  • Experience using Jira
  • Experience in an agile environment
  • Experience of travel sector 
  • Mobile app product development 
  • Exposure to a fast-paced start-up environment
